Ear Surgery

Also known as Otoplasty, is an aesthetic procedure that alters the size, position or proportion of the ears. The results depend considerably on the initial problem or deformity and the age of correction. In children and teenagers it can substantially improve patient confidence and self-esteem.

You should consider an Ear Surgery:

  • If you were born with overly large or small ears;
  • If your ears are disproportionate;
  • If your ears protrude or stick out;
  • If you have suffered an injury that has negatively impacted the shape or positioning of your ears;
  • If your self-esteem or self-image would improve from such a procedure.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery, also known as Blepharoplasty, is directed to treat the appearance of both the upper or lower eyelids. Its main objective is to address the excess skin and the protrusion of fat (“eye bags”) that can give a more aged and tired look;

You should consider a Blepharoplasty;

  • If you have excess skin hooding the fold in the upper eyelids;
  • If you have loose upper eyelid skin that impairs your vision;
  • If you have puffy eyelids, making your eyes look tired and sad;
  • If you have excess and thin skin with lower eyelid wrinkles;
  • If you have bags under the eyes;
  • If you have an upper eyelid without a visible natural fold.

Facelift

Also known as a Rhytidectomy, it is the benchmark for face rejuvenation procedures. It’s a complete surgical procedure directed to treat the signs of ageing in the face,as skin wrinkles, skin laxity, volume loss and volume malposition. The different techniques are aimed to tight the muscles and soft tissues and to redrape the skin over the new contour.

You should consider a Facelift :

  • If you feel that your face does not reflect your age or youth;
  • If you think that time, gravity, sun exposure and heredity have taken a toll,

Neck Lift

The neck is one of the first areas to give away our age. Double chin and turtle necks are standard terms associated with the skin sagging, muscles bands and fat accumulation, The surgery is directed to the skin and muscle tightening, volume reduction (liposuction) and to improve the jawline. It is generally associated with a facelift, although it can be a stand-alone procedure.

You should consider a Neck Lift:

  • If you have a neck that makes you look older than your age;
  • If you feel your neck is too fat (double chin);
  • If you have lost the jawline definition and have excess skin and wrinkles on your neck.

Neck Liposuction:

A double chin is not exclusively age-related and can be solved with a neck liposuction neck is a simple outpatient procedure. If associated to an energy device like LASER assisted liposuction (LAL), the skin is also treated and moderate cases of skin sageness can be addressed with this method, achieving a better jawline definition and a more defined neck.

You should consider a Neck Liposuction:

  • If you have a double chin that makes you look heavier and older;
  • If you lost your jawline definition due to the neck volume and jowl;
  • If you have moderate skin laxity in the neck.

Nose Surgery

Also known as a Rhinoplasty, it’s a surgical procedure aimed to change the nose shape, size and to correct nose deformities. These can range from minor ones to major procedures. The main areas to be addressed are the nose dorsum (a hump for ex.), the tip (ex. drooping) and the septum (ex. deviated).

You should consider Nose Surgery:

  • If you are unhappy with the shape, size or angle of your nose;
  • If your nose is not in proportion to the rest of your face;
  • If you have breathing problems;
  • If you have a nasal hump or a nasal tip that is dropping, too elevated or wide;

Breast Augmentation

Also known as augmentation mammoplasty, breast enlargement, it is one of the most common cosmetic procedures. Breast augmentation is directed to increase or restore breast size, enhancing breast shape and improving asymmetry, using implants or in selected cases, fat grafting.

You should consider Breast Augmentation :

  • If you have small non-proportional sized breasts.
  • If pregnancy, weight loss or ageing has affected the size and shape of your breasts
  • If one of your breasts is smaller than the other
  • If you believe you might gain self-confidence or self-esteem from such a procedure

Breast Lift

Also known as mastopexy and breast lift surgery, it is aimed to correct sagging and uneven breasts, breast volume,  and stretched areolas, recreating a youthful shape and lift. Depending on the existing breast volume, breast augmentation or breast reduction will be associated with the breast lift.

Breast Reduction

Also known as reduction mammaplasty, the objective of this surgical procedure is to reduce the size, weight as a source of physical discomfort and to reshape the breasts to become more proportional to the body. Provides the benefit of improving appearance while easing the physical and emotional burden of overly large breasts.

You should consider Breast Reduction:

  • f your breasts are too large for your body frame and create back, shoulder or neck pain
  • If one breast is much larger than the other
  • If you are unhappy and self-conscious about the significant appearance of your breasts

Breast Revision Surgery

Breast revision surgery is directed to improve the results of a previous  surgical breast procedure, although it is mostly performed to implant revision surgery. Usually, it involves removal and/or replacement of breast implants, change the type or size of the implants, and to correct complications resulting from primary breast surgery. The overall goal is to restore a youthful breast contour and appearance

When to Consider Breast Revision:

  • If your breast implants have deflated or have a shell leak
  • If you want to change your implant/breast size
  • If you have tightened  scar tissue around the implant (capsular contracture) or your breast implants, have shifted in position
  • If your breast tissue has changed as a result of skin stretching or weight loss/gain
  • If your scars need to be corrected and improved

Breast Reconstruction

Breast reconstruction includes a diversity of procedures performed to restore the form and shape of the breast, following mastectomy or lumpectomy surgery. Factors such as individual anatomy, aesthetic goals and the need for any post-surgical chemotherapy or radiation will determine your options.

When to Consider Breast Reconstruction

  • To help restore your femininity and confidence
  • To improve symmetry, if only one of your breasts is affected
  • To allow you to wear low-cut necklines and regular swimwear

Gynecomastia Treatment

The procedure, also known as male breast reduction, is directed to reduce breast size in men with enlarged breast. The cause can be attributed to the persistence of breast tissue, fat or a combination of both. It can be performed using liposuction techniques, cutting out excess glandular tissue (subcutaneous mastectomy) or using a combination of liposuction and excision.

When to When to Consider  Gynecomastia Treatment

  • If you are reluctant to remove your shirt in public, to swim, to participate in sports or to exercise at a gym
  • If you experience psychological discomfort associated with “man boobs” or large breasts.

Tummy-Tuck

Also known as abdominoplasty, it is a body contour surgical procedure directed to remove the excessive loose skin and fat and tightening muscles in the abdominal wall, to obtain a flatter abdomen. It can also remove some if not all of the stretch marks in your lower abdomen. It is successful following pregnancy, massive weight loss or whenever a flaccid tummy with weak muscles impairs body contour and function.When to Consider a Tummy-Tuck:

  • If you’ve got flab, stretch marks or excess skin in your abdomen that does not improve with diet or exercise.
  • If the shape of your abdomen has been affected by pregnancy or massive weight loss.
  • If you feel that your protruding abdomen is unattractive.
  • If pregnancy, weight loss or ageing has affected the size and shape of your breasts

Liposuction

Liposuction, liposculpture or just lipo are body contouring procedures, directed to remove localised deposits of fat, usually resistant to diet and exercise. Liposuction is one of the most performed cosmetic surgical procedures, with routinely excellent and safe results. Various body areas can be addressed as: hips, love handles, saddlebags, thighs, calves, breasts (including male breasts), back, arms and neck. Liposuction is often combined with other surgical procedures to create the desired shape. Liposuction is not a method for reducing weight.

Thigh Lift

A thigh lift is a body contouring procedure that involves the removal of excess skin and fat from either the inner or outer thighs. It is generally indicated for cases with loose skin, usually, after significant weight losses or persons with excess tissue in their upper thighs, that can’t be addressed solely by liposuction. Liposuction may be used as an adjunct.

When to Consider a Thigh Lift

  • If you want your thighs to have a better contour;
  • If you have undergone bariatric surgery or massive weight loss;
  • If you have loose, saggy skin on your thighs;
  • If you have difficulty fitting into clothing because of heavy thighs.

Arms Lift

Also known as Brachioplasty, is a body contour procedure aimed to reshape the upper arms by removing the skin and /or fat excess extending from the axilla to the elbow. This can result from weight loss or natural ageing

When to Consider an Upper Arms Lift

  • If your weight is healthy but you feel your shape is marred by underarm laxity;
  • If you have lost a considerable weight and are left with excess upper-arm skin and fat;
  • If you are willing to accept a scar in exchange for trimmer arms.

Buttock Lift

It is a body contouring surgical procedure in which excess skin and fat are removed from the buttocks to achieve a better shape and volume. It is different from the “Brazilian butt lift,” which adds volume using fat transfer.When to Consider a Buttock Lift

  • If you have loose, sagging skin and extra fat in your buttocks;
  • If you’ve lost a significant amount of weight and have loose and saggy buttocks;
  • If excess fat or skin make you uncomfortable or even cause mobility problems.

Fat Grafting

Fat grafting also is known as fat transfer or fat injections is a surgical procedure that transfers fat from areas where it is in excesses like the thighs, love handles or abdomen, to others that may be lacking volume as for example face, hands, buttocks, breast etc. It is a safe procedure and the results, although technical dependent, are long-lasting. It can be used for cosmetic improvement and for reconstruction procedures

When to Consider Fat Transfer

  • If you’re looking for longer lasting results than the ones provided by soft tissue  fillers;
  • If you wish to improve your body contour, scars or correct body depressions;
  • If you are looking to rejuvenate hands and face;
  • In breast surgery, reconstruction or cosmetic, to add volume, fill contour irregularities and conceal the visibility of breast implants.

Buttock Augmentation

It is a body contour surgical procedure aimed to reshape and augment the buttocks improving the gluteal profile. It can be achieved with fat grafting, using your own fat (Brazilian But Lift), with buttock implants or with soft tissue fillers

When to Consider Buttock Augmentation

  • If your buttocks are disproportional small for your body;
  • If you are looking for a more balanced look;
  • If the shape of your buttocks is too flat or square;
  • If you can not achieve the wanted buttock shape and size with intense physical activity.
